It’s also May Day.  In London, over the past few years May Day has meant some kind of bicycle related event.  This year, EVAC organized a DIY bike kitchen tune up day.  The event is mentioned a few local bicycle songs are played.

May Day is significant because of the struggles and successes of the Workers’ Rights Movement, including establishing a 8 hour work day.  DJ Mediafrenzy delves into the history of the movement and the victories, while playing some fantastic labour related tunes and protest anthems.
